I know I know

It's been a long while since I blogged. I've just been really busy and a lot has happened in the last few months that I haven't had the chance to catch up. So where to begin??

Last time I was around, I told u I was pregnant. So we'll start with the baby. We found out at the end of last month that we are having a daughter in June/July. We're so excited! The hubby and I wanted a girl and we love that we're getting one but there's so much more that seems to come along with having the first granddaughter/niece. We are completley ecstatic about it though. Her name is Milei Mae. Milei as in Miley and Mae for my grandma Warren. It was her middle name and I really think that she'd love it. I wish she were around for all this but what can you do you know. She's big and healthy and kickin. lol. Yes, kickin all the time these days. We had our ultrasound, like I said, at the end of last month and she has a big 'ol head and lips just like her daddy. I can't wait to meet her. She's growin so fast, maybe too fast. Just show how life's gonna be after she gets here. How time flies, I swear. All in all she's good. As for me well, I'm really achey some days and some days are better than others obviously. I'm adapting to being pregnant but I wish TPTB would of made pregnancy a little easier on us women. lol. The husbands been great though. He gives me back rubs and caters to me all the time. He has no idea how much I adore and appreciate him. I love that man.

Besides the baby news, not much has really been going on around here. We spent our holiday back home with his parents and sister. We only had a few days up there but goodness was it all extremely busy. We left on a friday afternoon, the hubby, me, grandma, and the Izzy all piled into my tiny Honda and got there around midnight or so. It felt like forever going through LA traffic. We dropped my grandma off at my mom's and headed to my best friends just to say Hi since I hadn't seen her in a while and she was flying to see her mom in Washington for the holiday. We left there and got to his parents house, where we were staying, and surprised them at around 1:30 a.m. I expected my MIL to freak out cause she had no idea we were coming but no she was completley fine about it. lol. We crawled into his old room and slept on the twin bed that they still have set up there for guests. lol. The next day we set up the spare room with the air mattress and slept in there for the duration. Saturday, we went to Davis to have dinner with my cousin and some of my other family so that was a bit of a busy day as well considering Davis from Pittsburgs another hour or so, but we carpooled with my mom. It was nice cause I NEVER get to seemy cousin since he's so busy and we live so far away still. Sunday, we went to Concord and shopped for a little bit but didn't find much. We kinda just hung around and had a lazy day. We ended up having dinner with his family, including his sisters new boyfriend. It was nice, it's always nice when we all go out together. We always end up having a good time. Monday, we went up to my dad's and had dinner with him and his girlfriend. As we were leaving, I didn't seem to realize how much I really really miss my dad and I started crying. My dad being my dad, lol, made me feel better but Idk, it just wasn't the same and made me realize that I had really grown up and got married and am preparing for a baby. Crazy how things work out. Tuesday was Christmas, so we stopped by my mom's dropped off presents to the kids and my brother and spent the rest with his family as planned. Lastly, wednesday we left for home. Took us something like 10-11 hours just to get home when it's usually a 7-8 hour drive. Crazy. We were exhausted. It was good to be home though.

Last month, January, we didn't do too much. He had New Years day off but had duty New Years Eve. So we had lunch and saw Sweeney Todd. It was good I thought and we don't do too many date days. lol. We also ended up buying a new vehicle that somehow we got more or less stuck with but I love it. It's takin a chunk outta our income though. That's alright, we needed to invest in a larger vehicle anyways. We got an '08 Chevy Tahoe. I know, Chevy, but what can I do. lol. I really liked it. lol. I also quit my job that month and have been lazy at home ever since. I don't mind it this time around. I'm glad to be able to get that extra rest. I really need it some days.

As for right now, I am tired as a dog but can't sleep since I have a little bit of a cold apparently and my whole back just aches horribly. Usually the husband would rubb it for me but unfortunatley he has duty today and won't be back till possibly mid-morning. So yea, that seems to be that. lol. Guess I really had a lot more to say than I thought I did. Well now that I've done absolutley nothing, I'll try and get to bed....
