Anywhere but Here

I’m in Michigan now, well since the 17th I’ve been and I’ve been having lots of fun given the circumstances. Well there really isn’t any circumstances but you know what I mean. My cousin, Melinda, and I already went shopping yesterday. We spent 4 hours in her mall, it was loverly!!! We practically hit every store there was and had time to eat as well. It was nice, I really got to know her and she and I have a lot in common, more than you think we would or should since we’ve never really met each other. It’s pretty cool. I bought some CD’s, and we went into HOT TOPIC, we went to a few other places that I wish we had in Cali but unfortunately we don’t.
It’s been cold since we got here but what can I say since we came in October. That is what tends to happen in the fall. The trees are completely beautiful. The colors are so vibrant and pure I heart them so much. I’ll post pics at the bottom of this but it’s like being around a real fall. The trees in Cali are wonderful but NOT at all as gorgeous as these trees. My cousin, N, would get a kick outta these ones. Michigan, in places, is beautiful and a part of me doesn’t want to go home. The need for a new place and town and environment. It would be completely wonderful but the inner me is completely and totally a CALIFORNIA GIRL through and through. Odd I know but you never really know what you have until you have it. It’s funny, I never thought that I would want to be anywhere else and the truth is, I don’t want to be anywhere else. I love home and this trip has made me realize how much I do love home.
Today, however, I met cousin Ronnie, who is in fact a female, it’s short for Veronica, and she was real nice. Come to find out, my dad’s family is huge and I like BIG families, I think it’s awesome. I guess we’re all getting together on Sunday for a FAMILY reunion. I can’t wait. I’ll update more as my days go along. G’night…

Oh yea.. Did I tell you I’m thinking bout getting my nose pierced. Well I am and it is cheaper than at home….
